Job Description: Consultant Trainer

MgtWell is seeking qualified Consultant Trainers to develop and deliver training programs across various disciplines. The following training areas are required:

  • Project Management Trainer
  • Health Trainer
  • PMP Certified Trainer
  • MEAL DPro Certified Trainer
  • Business Development Trainer
  • Project Management DPro Certified Trainer
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Trainer
  • Human Resources Management and Development Trainer
  • Financial Management and Budgeting Trainer
  • Strategic Planning and Organizational Development Trainer
  • Gender Mainstreaming and Inclusivity Trainer
  • Conflict Resolution and Capacity Building Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Material Development: Design and prepare comprehensive training materials in local languages (Dari and/or Pashto), ensuring they align with project goals and objectives.
  • Deliver Training: Conduct training sessions for participants, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Curriculum Improvement: Use feedback from trainees and lessons learned to continuously improve training content and methodology.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of the training program and suggest necessary improvements to enhance the learning experience.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and document training reports, including training designs, evaluations, and feedback summaries. Ensure all training activities are aligned with the project training plan.
  • Capacity Building: Provide mentoring and coaching to trainees, ensuring they apply newly acquired skills effectively in their roles.
  • Tailor Programs: Work closely with project teams to customize training programs based on the specific needs of the target audience.
  • Compliance: Ensure all training sessions comply with relevant standards, including IFC and World Bank guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in training or a relevant sector (e.g., Project Management, M&E, HR, etc.).
  • Skills:
    • Ability to analyze and compare data from various sources to draw conclusions and identify opportunities.
    • Strong project management and coordination skills, with hands-on experience in technical project implementation.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
    • Proficiency in writing project reports and management plans.
  • Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken English and local Afghan languages (Dari and/or Pashto).

Additional Requirements:

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide trainees in their professional development.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of training methodologies and relevant industry standards.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
