Job Summary: MEAL Intern
In the role of MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Intern, you will assist the MEAL team in managing beneficiary data across various health facilities in Nangarhar and Kunar. The position provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the monitoring, evaluation, and accountability processes. By participating in surveys and data collection, you will help ensure the accuracy and quality of the information that guides program decisions.

  • Assist in conducting Post-Distribution Monitoring (PDM) surveys in Nangarhar and Kunar.
  • Participate in baseline and endline surveys for projects in these regions.
  • Support beneficiary verification to ensure accurate compliance with verification procedures.
  • Help with data entry and resolve any issues related to data quality.
  • Educate beneficiaries and project stakeholders about Tdh’s Accountability mechanism during assessments and field visits.
  • Provide additional support to the MEAL team as required to ensure smooth program implementation.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: A fresh graduate in Computer Science or a Statistics-related field.
  • Experience: No prior experience is required, making this an ideal opportunity for recent graduates.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Languages: Fluency in English (both verbal and written) and the local language.
