The Development Service for Afghan’s Rural and Urban Organization (DSARUO) is a registered non-profit working across Afghanistan, focusing on humanitarian assistance, gender equality, education, health, and other vital sectors. Established in 2011, DSARUO delivers impactful programs for both urban and rural communities with a dedicated focus on women and children.
Job Overview:
The HR Officer will manage HR functions, ensuring efficient employee recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution. The role will include maintaining employee records, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive organizational culture. The HR Officer will also promote employee development and uphold PSEA principles to prevent sexual exploitation and abuse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with managers on HR policies and strategies.
- Review job descriptions and assist in recruitment.
- Administer employee performance evaluations.
- Manage conflict resolution and employee relations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle HR documentation.
- Assist in disciplinary actions and exit interviews.
- Develop programs to enhance employee retention and job satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR or administration.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
